I was blessed to get to meet this little guy when he was about 6 weeks old for some family portraits last summer to celebrate his birth. Can't believe he is 1 already! Not only did the year go fast, but he is moving fast, too! Kiddo learned to walk early so he can keep up with his big sister! A one-year-old portrait session is always challenging, but even more so if they are walking. But I enjoy the challenge!

Barefoot is always a great "outfit" option for a toddler session. Who doesn't love how cute LITTLE TOES are?! And those bib overalls -- ADORABLE! Some blocks and a balloon turned out to be perfect props for this session. And of course, my large #1 prop had to make an appearance!

With that handsome SMILE, and oh that hair, I hope this sweet boy has lots of joy and fun adventures this year.

Lots of snack breaks were needed, but that's ok. These smiles are worth the wait to be able to capture these portraits for him & his family to cherish for many years to come.

Managed to get a portrait with the blocks stacked spelling "ONE" before they got tumbled. I love the one of him playing with the blocks! I didn't even mind that he wrecked my setup of his name spelled with the blocks because it resulted in such a great childhood lifestyle portrait.
